The Eiffel Tower was constructed by Gustov Eiffel in 1889. It’s truly an amazing experience being up close to this Parisian landmark. It’s larger than you imagine! A big tourist location with wait lines and fees to get to each of the levels. There is some incredibly great dining on each of the levels, but just walking the perimeter is an impressive experience. The crowds go away due to the sheer size of the structure levels.
I can tell you from personal experience when it is windy and stormy it is pretty wild so high up! The 360 degree views of every district in Paris is breathtaking. The other landmarks of the city, such as Sacre Cou’er Cathedral, Notre Dame Cathedral, George Pompidou Modern Museum, Arche De Triomphe, all pop out with great clarity of this immense city scape, as far as you can see. The pain of the lines are worth it and in the evening it takes on a whole different perspective.
